ABOUT

In the 2022-2023 academic year, I will be working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the College of the Environment and Life Sciences at the University of Rhode Island. Previously, I held appointments as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Politics and International Affairs at Wake Forest University and as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science at Bryn Mawr College. My PhD is from the Department of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland. My research interests include political communication, presidential primary campaigns, mass media, elite rhetoric (especially agendas, emotions, and trait appeals), and populism. I teach classes on American politics, political communication, campaigns and elections, political parties, the presidency, and political methodology.
